Bilbo and Thorin

The thought has always stuck with me that the Elven sword, Orcrist would be just slightly too long a sword for a dwarf, and that Thorin probably would not be able to wear it on his belt (being 5'3" and a collector of historical arms myself, I can attest to how problematic this can be, I can only wear a sword that is around 40" long or less without the tip of the scabbard dragging the ground). So the idea occurred to me that since many dwarves are illustrated as using their large axes as walking sticks, Thorin could do the same with Orcrist.
